This policy explains what the Habiary app collects, why, and how you control it.
What we collect
- Account: email address, password (stored hashed), and the time you accepted the terms.
- Profile: display name, handle, optional bio, location, experience and photo.
- Keeping data: colonies, journal entries, care routines and tasks, nest setups, temperature and humidity readings, and photos you add.
- Community: posts, comments, reactions, follows, saves, blocks and reports.
- Settings: theme and notification preferences.
We do not use advertising trackers, sell data, or track you across other apps or websites.
Where it is stored
Data is stored with Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage). Access is restricted per account: your private colonies, journal and photos can only be read by you. Community posts and public profiles are visible to other signed-in keepers.
AI care suggestions
If you ask for an AI care suggestion, the relevant colony details are sent to an AI provider to generate it. Suggestions are not stored by the provider for advertising.
Community safety checks
Before a community post or comment is published, its text and any attached image are sent to OpenAI's moderation service to check them against the Community rules. Content flagged by this check is not published.
Bug reports
If you send a bug report, we store the information you submit, any optional screenshot, and limited device and browser details to investigate it and track its status. We do not attach colony, journal, or chat data. Only you and Habiary support admins can access your report. We delete its text, diagnostics, and screenshot 90 days after it is closed; minimal reward records are kept until the reward is redeemed or expires. Your report is deleted if you delete your account.
Demo mode
Demo data stays only on your device and is never uploaded.
Your rights
You can edit your profile, make it private, and delete individual posts and entries. Settings → Delete account permanently removes your account, all keeping data, photos, posts and comments.
