These terms (the end-user licence agreement) apply to the Habiary app and website. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You must give a valid email address and keep your password private. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account; this permanently removes your data.
Community rules — zero tolerance
Habiary has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or send:
- harassment, threats, hate speech or bullying;
- sexual, violent or otherwise objectionable content;
- spam, scams or misleading advertising;
- content that promotes illegal trade in ants or releasing non-native species;
- other people's private information or content you have no rights to.
Any keeper can report posts and comments or block another keeper from the Community. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or delete the accounts responsible.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By sharing it in the Community you allow Habiary to show it to other keepers. Private notes, colonies and journal entries are never shared unless you choose to.
Care information
Species care values come from cited keeper care sheets and studies; AI care suggestions are unverified. Always use your own judgement — Habiary is not liable for harm to colonies based on this information.
Ant Mentor — fair use
Free includes 3 AI questions per UTC week, shared across Care AI, Ant Mentor and worker estimates. Pro includes unlimited AI questions. Photo limits apply per worker estimate. Automated, bulk or shared-account use is not permitted. Your saved conversations and colony data remain available.
Bug report rewards
Bug report rewards are thank-you offers for the first verified report of a unique bug that we fix and include in a released version. Feature requests, duplicates, and reports we cannot verify are not eligible. Habiary sets the severity and reward: 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year of Premium through a one-time Apple offer code. The free Premium access does not auto-renew, starts when Apple accepts the code, and may need to wait until an existing Pro subscription ends. The code must be redeemed within 90 days of issue. Rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and are never tied to an App Store rating or review.
